POLICE are appealing for information after a house was broken into in Paisley.
At around 2.20pm on Friday, a man broke into a house in Glenapp Avenue.
Officers say he exited the house and got into a dark-coloured vehicle, which drove off at speed towards Glenapp Drive.
The suspect is described as white, around 6ft, of slim build and in his 20s. He was wearing a black hoodie and black jogging bottoms.
A Paisley CID spokesman said: “We are still working to establish the circumstances of this crime and get more information on the person responsible. We have been speaking to people in the area and officers are continuing to study CCTV footage.
“At this time I would ask any witnesses that may have information that may assist our investigation to contact Paisley Police Office through 101."
