A Johnstone couple are due to go on trial next month accused of dealing drugs from their home in the town.
Alistair Harvie and Debra Brown are said to have dealt Amphetamine, a class B drug more commonly known as speed, from their Rankine Street home.
Prosecutors claim they were in possession of the drug ‘with intent to supply it to another or others’.
Harvie, 41, and Brown, 35, are also said to have been in possession of two other drugs - cannabis and etizolam, a former legal high which is often sold as Valium.
It’s claimed they had the banned substance at their home on August 24 last year.
The case against the pair, who maintain their innocence, called at Paisley Sheriff Court last week for a pre-trial hearing.
Sheriff Craig Harris continued the case until next month for both a trial and another pre-trial hearing to take place.
