A charity which deals with terminally ill patients and their loved ones is seeking new volunteers.

Marie Curie is looking for people in the Renfrewshire area to come forward and volunteer in support of Marie Curie Nurses who work day and night, in people’s homes across Renfrewshire, providing hands-on care and vital emotional support.

Volunteers will support Marie Curie’s major fundraising campaigns including the Great Daffodil Appeal and Blooming Great Tea Party.

They will also help spread the word about Marie Curie, by informing people how the charity’s services can support people living with a terminal illness and loved ones.

Community fundraiser for Renfrewshire, Sara Murray said: “Volunteers are vital to Marie Curie and without them we couldn’t continue to support people living with a terminal illness and their loved ones in Renfrewshire, it is also a wonderful way to meet new people in the local community.”

If anyone is interested in becoming a volunteer for Marie Curie, they are encouraged to contact Sara Murray on 07753 268855 or email sara.murray@mariecurie.org.uk.
