Charity match will help homeless
A CHARITY football match will be held in Barrhead this Sunday to help homeless people.
Eastwood Mearns Ath will face off against Blackthorn Rovers at Cowan Park on Sunday, December 9.
All money raised will go towards Glasgow Streetmates, a charity providing essentials to people sleeping rough.
Barrhead Youth Football Club offered the pitch free of charge for the match, with Alan Burnett agreeing to donate his refereeing fee and both teams are donating their players' fees to the cause.
Kick-off is at 12noon.
