A WOMAN is facing trial accused of stealing meat from the same Renfrew shop three times in eight days.
Debbie Shankland is said to have repeatedly targeted the Co-op store in Paisley Road in October this year.
Prosecutors claim 38-year-old Shankland stole meat from the premises on October 3, 5 and 10.
Shankland, of Victoria Drive East, Renfrew, was not present when the case against her called at Paisley Sheriff Court.
A letter pleading not guilty was lodged on her behalf and the case was adjourned until March for a trial to take place.
A pre-trial hearing has been assigned for February and Shankland is ordained to appear at both hearings.
