Appeal for information after disappearance of teenager
A TEENAGER has been found safe and well in Johnstone after disappearing from Lochwinnoch.
Ryan Rotchford, 13, had not been seen since 3pm on Wednesday, January 2, when it was believed he was travelling to Braehead Shopping Centre with a friend.
He was reported missing by his family when he did not return home and they could not get in contact with him.
Officers have now announced Ryan has been found safe and have thanked everyone for sharing their appeal on social media.
A police spokesman said: "Thanks to the response from our social media appeal, Ryan Rotchford, who had last been seen in Lochwinnoch around 3 pm yesterday, has been traced safe and well in Johnstone."
