A WOMAN was rescued from the River Clyde near Renfrew after she fell in.
Heroic emergency services raced to the stretch of water near the Renfrew Ferry before noon on Tuesday after receiving a report that a woman had fallen in.
The 49-year-old was rescued and taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

The Gazette understands she was treated for hyperthermia.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We were called at around 11.35am to a report of a 49-year-old woman in the River Clyde near Renfrew.
"Emergency services attended and got the woman out of the water safely.
"She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment."

Firefighters, police and ambulance crews were spotted at the water side during the rescue.
