POLICE have cast a wide net to try to catch a thief who stole fishy goods from a Braehead garden centre.
Officers were alerted to the break-in at Dobbies when an alarm was activated at 3am on Sunday morning.
On arrival, they found the rear of the premises was insecure but the perpetrator had fled.

A review of CCTV footage showed a male entering the compound and removing items from the fish area.
Although no fish were stolen, investigators say he appeared to only be interested in fish-care products.

Renfrewshire Police say they are seeking assistance from anyone who might know who the individual is, as he was wearing gloves and his face was concealed.
