A four car smash caused delays at the J27 Arkleston this morning
TRAFFIC was brought to a standstill near Glasgow Airport this morning after a four car smash.
The incident occurred on the M8 eastbound near J27 Arkelston at around 7.20am.
Emergency services rushed to the scene with all three lanes blocked due to the accident.

It was cleared by around 7.45am and traffic slowly returned to normal.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, an accident on the A737 between Johnstone and Linwood caused delays from around 7.25am.
It was cleared approximately half an hour later.
