Car smashes through barrier at busy junction
A BUSY Renfrewshire street was brought to a standstill after a driver ploughed his car through a barrier earlier today.
The incident occurred at around 1pm at the roundabout between the Linwood Road and Ferguslie roundabout of the A761.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and were diverting traffic away from the junction.

While no one was hurt, The Gazette understands the driver was issued with a fixed-penalty notice.
It is understood the accident has been cleared.
