A HOTEL has released an artist’s impression of a planned outdoor hydrotherapy spa.

Work has already started on the latest addition to the Bowfield Hotel and Country Club in Howwood, which is estimated to cost around £150,000.

Expected to open to the public on April 4, the spa will be located in a quiet, secluded outdoor area, offering views of the surrounding countryside.

It is set to be mosaic-tiled, and nine people can comfortably relax inside.

It will be surrounded by LED-lit decking and will be covered with a solid oak pavilion. An Italian Masiero Chandelier will hang from the overhead canopy.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the hot bubbling Jacuzzi water with a glass of fizz or wrap up in a bath robe to enjoy lunch or afternoon tea while taking in the views.

The country retreat is part of the Manorview Hotels & Leisure Group, which has invested £4million in the venue’s redevelopment. This has included the Plumpy Duck Restaurant, Stables Bar, gym refurbishment, external beer garden, and a new spa.

Anthony Cowley, property development director, said: “The Bowfield is our countryside retreat. It’s the perfect escape.”

As well as the addition of the spa, the function rooms have had a make-over.
