Pensioner dies after being hit by van in Linwood
A PENSIONER has died after being hit by a van when crossing the road in Linwood.
The 84-year-old - who is yet to be named by Police - had been rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following the collision in Abernethy Drive at around 4.45pm on Tuesday.
The elderly man's death comes just a day after the incident involving a Vauxhall Combo.
His family have been informed.
The 51-year-old driver of the Vauxhall was uninjured.
Police are continuing to appeal for information and are asking people to call them on 101.
