A SPECIALIST team is to be brought in today to aid the police in their search for a missing pensioner with dementia.
Allan Burns, 71, was last seen at around 3.15pm on Friday on the cycle path at Kilbarchan, heading towards Lochwinnoch.
He was reported missing by family when he did not return home.

Searches have been conducted by the police, with over 80 members of the public joining in efforts yesterday.
Areas searched included Kilbarchan, Castle Semple, Lochwinnoch and the cycle path.
Police Scotland’s dog unit also assisted.
However, Allan is still yet to be found and now the police are set to bring in specialist search teams to access areas not accessible to members of the public.
A police spokesperson said: "We want to again thank the members of the public who assisted yesterday, but would urge you today to let the specialist officers carry on with the search today.

"You can still assist us by making sure your gardens and outbuildings have been checked and ask your neighbours to do the same.
"Anyone with any information regarding Allan’s whereabouts is asked to contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 4197 of Friday 18 January 2019."
