SEVEN people are to stand trial accused of being involved in a cannabis factory at an address in Renfrewshire.
Carole Martin, 56, Susan McGrattan, 54, Brian Scally, 37, Darren Chalmers, 26, Ian Matthews, 37, David Kerr, 29, and 38-year-old James Robertson appeared at the High Court in Glasgow this morning.
They are charged with producing cannabis at an address in Glasgow Road, Paisley.
All seven face a further allegation of being concerned in the supply of the drug.
A separate charge then claims they did “steal electricity” by tampering with a meter at the property.
Lawyers for the seven submitted pleas of not guilty on their behalf during a short hearing.
Judge Lady Stacey set a trial date for June.
The case could last around seven days.
