NETWORK Rail repair teams have worked through the night to fix train tracks
Network Rail alerted ScotRail last night to a track defect with a set of switches and crossings on the approach to Glasgow Central which needed “urgent repair.”
Services to and from Paisley Canal, Inverclyde and Ayrshire were all cancelled and replacement buses were put on instead.
Services were terminating or beginning at Paisley Gilmour Street until end of services last night.
