RESIDENTS are being warned to take care after a flood warning was issued for Renfrew.
The Renfrewshire town is expected to be hit by localised flooding in low lying areas in and around Ferry Road.
Access to nearby streets and properties may also be impacted by floodwater.
A maximum water level and possible flooding impacts are likely to occur around the time of high tide at around 2.45pm this afternoon.
Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) are warning people to be vigilant.
A spokesperson said: "Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.
"Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188.
"This flood warning is now in force until further notice."
