BROTHERS in Arms is very much in its infancy, having only been around for a year as an official charity.
The cause offers support to men in Scotland, of any age, who are down or in crisis, and empowers them to ask for help when they need it.
The most significant development in the charity so far is its creation of the Brothers Feel Stress Free app, which aims to prevent, detect and treat common mental health conditions.

It has features such as a meditation button, which can guide users through things such as how to have a mindful walk, and collects data on the types of things which are worrying men and causing them to feel down.
Dan Proverbs, founder of the charity, said without fundraisers such as Frazer Macdonald, the cause would not have been as successful as it had been.
Frazer, who is set run the Stirling marathon in April to raise money for late friend Marc Rhoddan, will donate his funds to the charity.
Johstone man Marc passed away in his home in October.
He said: “We are extremely grateful to Frazer for choosing us. Fundraising is absolutely key to our existence. We are not funded by anything else and are almost completely voluntary-based.
“Our app now has an average of 900 users per month and is used by men all over Scotland. We’ve discovered body image and money are the two things men commonly worry about, so we can now work on programmes which will help with those.
“Without people like Frazer, we wouldn’t be able to do these things.”
