A MAN is being prosecuted after allegedly being caught with class-A drugs just hours after being released from custody.

Ryan Garry Duffy, of Bobbins Gate, Paisley, is said to have been caught with cocaine in the town’s Turners Avenue on November 22 last year.

And it’s claimed he committed the offence whilst on bail, after being freed in connection with another matter at court earlier that same day.

When the case against 28-year-old Duffy called for the first time at Paisley Sheriff Court last week, Sheriff James Spy continued matters without plea until next month to ensure he is aware of the prosecution.
