A BEAUTIFUL Renfrewshire house could be crowned the best in the country after it was shortlisted for a national award.
The stunning Bridge of Weir property is in the running to be named as 'best house exterior' in the first ever Home of the Year awards.
The home's owner Deborah Horsfall is one of the ten shortlisted entries to be in with a chance of claiming a £500 John Lewis voucher.
The list of finalists in the Express Bi-folding Doors competition was produced thanks to votes from the public.
Deborah said: "Our kitchen extension has changed the way the entire family lives in the house. We spend so much more time together enjoying the space and can’t wait for the better weather when we can open our bifold doors and make the most of our garden."
Her home will now be presented to a distinguished panel of home experts. The judges include Deborah Stone, Property Editor for Daily Express and Beth Murton, Acting Editor of Real Homes Magazine as well as Express’ own Managing Director, Steve Bromberg.
The winner will be announced at the beginning of March.
