YOUNGSTERS at Gryffe High School raised more than £1,200 for the British Heart Foundation with a range of sporting-related activities in 2005.
The PE department organised a 3km fun run and a jewellery sale, as well as staging a raffle for a Scotland strip donated by Rangers star and former pupil Steven Thompson.
The big striker returned to the school to see the cheque being handed over.
