ParentPay launched in Howwood Primary, Castlehead High School in Paisley, St Fillan’s Primary and Gryffe High School in Houston, Auchenlodment Primary in Johnstone and St James’ Primary in Renfrew in January.

The next stage will begin in March, with Johnstone High and Trinity High in Renfrew joining the scheme.

Alongside them, Houston and Bridge of Weir primaries will become cashless, with Paisley schools West, St Catherine’s and St John Bosco primaries, and Erskine schools St Anne’s and Bargarran primaries. In the villages, Wallace Primary in Elderslie, Kilbarchan and Lochwinnoch primaries will join the scheme.

All of these schools will be cashless by early May 2019.

The new system allows parents to pay for school lunches, trips, activities and equipment online. The roll-out is part of a programme which will see all schools go cashless by April 2020.

Parents and carers will need to set up a MyGovScot MyAccount login.
