Police hunting firebugs after £50k car set alight in village
POLICE are hunting firebugs who set alight a car worth around £50,000.
The incident, which is suspected to have been a targeted attack, happened at around 9.30pm on Monday in Balmoral Drive, Bishopton.
Officers believe an accelerant was poured over the Audi Q7 and then set on fire, leaving the vehicle with extensive damage.
Enquiries are now being carried out and police are asking anyone living in the area with any information or footage to call 101 immediately.
