POLICE are on the hunt for thugs who broke into the homes of elderly women.
On Sunday, two incidents were reported to police by pensioners.
Between 6.15pm and 9pm a house in Auchencarroch Road in Jamestown was targeted while hours earlier, between 9.30am and 2.15pm, another house was broken into in Drymen Road, Balloch.

It's not yet known if the incidents are connected, however, Clydebank Police urged residents to be vigilant.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.
