FIREFIGHTERS are tackling an early-morning blaze in Glasgow.
Emergency service crews are in attendance at a high-rise on Kirkton Avenue in Knightswood.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) confirmed crews are still in attendance at “a possible house fire.”
An SFRS spokesman said: "We were alerted at 5.45am to reports of a fire at a flat within a multi-storey building in Glasgow.
"Operations Control mobilised five fire engines to the scene, at Kirkton Avenue, where crews extinguished the flames.
"Two fire engines remain at the scene."

Police Scotland said it was made aware of the incident at around 5.50am this morning and that its officers are also in attendance to handle road closures in the area.
