A MEMORIAL day will be held to honour those who have died in the River Clyde.
The River Clyde Memorial Group, which was set up by James Stewart Haggart, an advocate for better safety and suicide prevention, will honour those who died in the water.

Members of the public can join the group from noon to 2pm on Sunday, June 30, near to the People's Palace at Glasgow Green.

In the Facebook event, they said: "A tribute to all who have lost their lives to the River Clyde and hope to make this a very special day for all bereaved families, supporters of our 'Think Again' campaign and our group."
So far, around 150 people have expressed an interest in attending the event.
