FOUR people are due to appear in court today after police uncovered a suspected haul of heroin at a home in Linwood.

The discovery was made at around 7.10am on Saturday in Park Place, Bridge Street, when police were called to a disturbance.

Officers recovered drugs paraphernalia and a substantial amount of brown powder, thought to be around half a kilo of heroin with a potential street value of £26,000.

Police arrested three men, aged 44, 46 and 48, and a 47-year-old woman, who are all to due to appear in the dock today charged with posession with intent to supply.
