A MAN had to be rushed to hospital after being hit over the head with a lamp during a rammy at a Johnstone flat.
The 34-year-old is said to have been involved in an incident with another man in William Street at around 9pm last night.

Police said the man was struck with a lamp before a fight spilled out into a back garden, where he was allegedly attacked with a number of weapons, including a knife.
He was rushed to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Paisley, where he received six stitches in a head wound.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court tomorrow.
