Cops probe suspicious death in East Renfrewshire street
A MAN has died after he was found seriously injured following a disturbance in East Renfrewshire.
Officers were called to Roukenburn Street, in the Thornliebank area, at around 10.20pm last night.
A 33-year-old man who had suffered fatal injuries was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have confirmed they are treating the death as suspicious.
A spokesman said: "A post-mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, which officers are treating as suspicious at this time.
"Inquiries are at an early stage to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
