A MAN has been arrested after police received reports of a naked person being spotted in an East Renfrewshire park.
Officers launched an investigation into the sightings, which took place in Rouken Glen Park, close to the train line running between Patterton and Whitecraigs.
The Barrhead News understands a naked man was seen on three separate occasions and that a 34-year-old suspect was arrested last Thursday.
A police spokesman said: “We had received three separate reports over the past week from people travelling on the train between Patterton and Whitecraigs regarding a naked person in Rouken Glen Park, near to the railway line.
“We have now arrested someone and he has been reported over three separate breach of the peace offences for being naked within the park.”
