BASEBALL-bat wielding thugs attacked three men in Renfrew.
Cops say the trio were set about by a ‘number of men’ at around 12.15am on Tuesday in Fulbar Street.
The gang are believed to have pulled up to the scene, on the corner with Blythswood Avenue, in cars before launching the attack. The thugs then fled and two of the victims were later found in the town’s High Street.

One victim, 36, had to be rushed to Paisley’s Royal Alexandra Hospital where he was treated for a broken arm and received stitches to his head. The other, 44, sustained no major injuries.

Police say they are still looking for the third man.
