A BUDDING singer hoped his next gig, in front of hundreds of music fans, would put him on the road to stardom.
Paul Meikleham was to sing at the ‘Voice of 2009’ competition a decade ago.
He said at the time: “I’m feeling a bit nervous but I think, once I get going, I will be alright.
“I am just doing it for some experience, so it is not the end of the world if I don’t win."
