IF you love your film music, then a trip to see Lochwinnoch Choral Society perform on Sunday could be just the ticket.
The choir, conducted by BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra musician Gordon Rigby, will be joined by children from the junior choir and members of the Scottish Philharmonic Orchestra for a night of songs from the movies.
Tunes will include greats from Schindler’s List, the James Bond series and The Greatest Showman.
Eric Whitfield, chairman of the choir committee, said “We’re a local choir who enjoy making music and our summer show featuring music from the movies should be a great night.
“There will be music from our junior choir, as well as the adult choir, and we’re lucky to be accompanied by members of the Scottish Philharmonic Orchestra. It’s always a great night.”
The concert will be at Lochwinnoch Parish Church, in Church Street, starting at 7pm.
Tickets cost £10 and can be bought at the door. Under-16s get in for free with a fee-paying adult.
