Hunt for thieves after cars stolen
POLICE are on the hunt for thieves after two cars were stolen from Renfrewshire villages.
A grey Volvo P40 was taken from a driveway in Renshaw Road, Bishopton, sometime between 11pm on Thursday and 9.30am on Friday.
The number plate of the car was HU02 DAN. It has not yet been recovered.
Meanwhile, a Ford Focus thought to be worth around £19,000 was also stolen from Ladysmith Avenue in Kilbarchan sometime between 4pm on Friday and 10.30am on Saturday.
The number plate of the Ford Focus was RS57 COW. Police are still searching for the car.
Anyone with information about either incident is being asked to call 101.
