A RENFREW man has appeared in court charged with being responsible for a crime spree in his home town on Monday night.
Jason King, 26, is alleged to have been armed with a knife in public, smashed a window, broken his bail conditions, made threats and behaved in a threatening way.
He was held in custody overnight before appearing in the dock at Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday afternoon.

King, of Thomson Street, faces four charges.
Prosecutors claim he was armed with a knife in a common close in Ferguson Street and damaged property by throwing a brick through a window at the same block of flats.
He is also said to have broken bail conditions by being in the street and behaved in a threatening or abusive way in Thomson Street and a police vehicle.

King made no plea to the charges against him and was remanded in custody by Sheriff Craig Harris, who continued the case for prosecutors to investigate further.
