A MAN is to appear in court today in connection with an alleged attempted murder in Renfrew.
The 33-year-old was arrested after a firearm was discharged in Cardon Square, in Renfrew, at around 8.25pm on Thursday.

No-one was injured but the bullet smashed the window of an adjacent flat.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A 33 year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder and is due before Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday 1 July 2019.
"A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
He will appear in Paisley Sheriff Court today.
