A PAISLEY man and woman were caught with cocaine in a street in the town, according to court papers.
Danny Felletti, of Cathcart Crescent, and Laura Sloan, of Glen Street, are said to have had the class A drug on them in Ardgowan Street, Paisley, on March 18 this year.
Felletti, 45, and Sloan, 31, both face a single charge of possession of class A drugs, and the case against them called for the first time at Paisley Sheriff Court last month.
Letters from law firm Tod and Mitchell were submitted on behalf of both accused ahead of the case being called.
Felletti’s saying he pleaded not guilty, and Sloan’s asking for the case against her to be continued without plea, so her lawyers can establish how she intends to plead to the charge.
Sheriff Colin Pettigrew set a trial for September, with a pre-trial hearing scheduled for August, for Felletti, and continued Sloan’s case until next month.
Both accused are ordained to appear at their next hearing.
