POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a wheelie bin was set on fire in the grounds of Johnstone Burgh Football Club.
The incident at Keanie Park, in Auchenlodment Road, happened at around 2.30am on Tuesday.
Cops were called to reports of noise coming from the football ground and, when they arrived at the scene, discovered that a bin had been set alight.

Officers investigating the incident were on site yesterday to speak with staff.
Anyone who witnessed the arson attack or has information that can help the police with their inquiries is asked to call 101.
