Six homes under construction were damaged in an arson attack in Crosshill Road on Saturday, July 6.
Officers are now keen to speak to two boys aged between 15 and 17 who are believed to have been in the area at the time.
The first boy is described as being of average height and build, and was wearing a light coloured hooded jumper, dark coloured trousers and trainers with a light coloured base.
The second boy is also described as being of average height and build, with short dark hair, and was wearing a dark hooded jumper and white or light coloured trousers/jogging bottoms. He was also carrying what looked like a two-piece fishing rod.
Anyone with information is being urged to call 101.
