Omar Sarwar, assistant engineer at Scotland TranServ who are carrying out the work explained: “Scotland TranServ has been working in consultation with local authorities, emergency services and key stakeholders to carefully schedule this short programme of resurfacing works to be delivered with minimal disruption to commuters, businesses and holidaymakers.

“This is an important trunk road, connecting Dunbartonshire, Argyll and the Highlands with Glasgow and the busy Central Belt. Balancing the needs of maintaining the carriageway while limiting the impact on motorists is a challenge. To minimise disruption to the travelling public the short programme has been scheduled for after the school holidays.”
