A VILLAGE councillor has backed the work supporting veterans affected by hearing loss.
Natalie Don found out about the Unforgotten Forces consortium during a visit to a hearing aid support session in the Erskine Reid Macewen Activity Centre, in Bishopton.
The councillor for Bishopton, Bridge of Weir and Langbank, was shown the services on offer including the Hearing Forces team, who provide advice about assistive technology, such as amplified telephones or vibrating alarms, which can make everyday life easier.
Councillor Don said: “It’s great to see charities working together in the Unforgotten Forces partnership to help those who served the country.”
Caroline McDonald, project officer, said: “We thank Councillor Don for visiting our Hearing Forces session.”
