PASSENGERS in Renfrewshire are set to benefit from extra services and more seats over the next two weekends.
ScotRail is laying on increased trains to help music fans heading to Glasgow from Paisley Canal for the annual Summer Sessions.
Crowds of 35,000 people are expected for the gig at Bellahouston Park on Friday 16, Saturday 17 and Sunday 25 August, which will be headlined by The Cure, The Foo Fighters and The 1975.

Key trains between Glasgow Central and Gourock and Wemyss Bay, which go through Bishopton, will also benefit from more seats.
However, from 10pm on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 August, buses will replace trains between Glasgow Central and Paisley Canal, calling at all station.
ScotRail Head of Customer Operations Phil Campbell said: “This year’s Summer Sessions has another fantastic line up, and we’re really looking forward to helping music lovers travel to see their favourite bands.
“We’re adding lots of extra services over the three-day event and thousands of extra seats, but trains will still be very busy, so people should plan their journeys in advance.

“Buying a return ticket to Dumbreck before you travel will help make your journey run smoothly.
“We’d ask anyone travelling home by train to be mindful of our neighbours when you’re making your way back to the station.”
