A JOHNSTONE man is facing trial accused of attacking his ex-partner and leaving a man scarred for life by carrying out a knife attack on him on the same day.
Dale Fallon is alleged to have gone on a violent rampage in the town’s Auchenlodment Road and Clifton Terrace after entering his ex’s home uninvited.
Prosecutors claim that, on August 26 last year, he went to Aime McLister’s home in Auchenlodment Road, entered uninvited and shout and swore at her and a man named Craig McMillan.
Fallon, of Sycamore Avenue, denies this and behaving in a threatening or abusive way.
And he is said to have assaulted Miss McLister on the same occasion by grabbing her by the arm.
He is also said to have assaulted Mr McMillan in Clifton Terrace by pursuing him and striking him on the head with a knife “or similar instrument,” leaving him scarred for life and permanently impaired.
Prosecutors claim the alleged offences involving Miss McLister were aggravated by involving abuse of his ex-partner.
The case against Fallon called at Paisley Sheriff Court this week and was adjourned until November for a trial to take place.
