CONCERN is growing for a woman with "several health issues" who went missing from her home in Howwood yesterday.

Carolyn Stirling was last seen at around 3pm and officers in Renfrewshire are growing increasingly worried for her safety.

The 58-year-old is known to frequent Johnstone town centre and also has connections in the Springburn area of Glasgow.

She is described as 5ft 5", with short dyed brown hair above her ears, slim build, ‘Alan’ tattooed on the back of her neck, and was last seen wearing a white puffer style Superdry jacket, blue denim jeans and white trainers.

The Gazette:

PC Ashley Allan, Renfrew Police Office, said: “Carolyn went missing from her home address without any explanation and has several health issues which may affect her balance and memory.

"Carolyn has previously been reported as a missing person however has attended at a friend/family member’s house or contacted them. Carolyn has not been in contact with any family members or friends which is out of character.

"She is known to frequent Johnstone town centre and has connections in the Springburn area of Glasgow. We just want to make sure she is okay and would appeal to anyone who may be in this area to look out for her."

We would urge anyone who has seen Carolyn or anyone with any information is asked to contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 3137 of Thursday the 30th of August 2019.
