A STUNNED landlord stumbled across 300 hash plants in his Johnstone house when he turned up to collect the rent.
Cops say the massive drug farm filled three rooms of a semi-detached home in the town's Thornside Road.
Drug squad officers descended on the street on Wednesday morning following the shock find by the member of the public.
It’s understood the plants have an estimated street value of more than £140,000 and now a major probe is underway.
The find comes just days after The Gazette reported on how David Kerr, James Robertson, Brian Scally and Ian Matthews were jailed for a total of 18 years for their part in a massive cannabis farm in Paisley.
