A RENFREW couple are facing trial accused of breaking the law by having a rammy at their own home.
Theresa and Anthony Gallagher are both said to have behaved in a threatening or abusive way within their flat.
Prosecutors claim the pair, of Ferguson Street, acted in a way that was likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear or alarm on July 18 this year.
Mrs Gallagher, 47, is said to have shouted and swore, while her 49-year-old partner Anthony is said to have shouted, swore and threatened violence in an offence prosecutors claim was aggravated by religious prejudice.
She also faces a charge that, on July 19, she was in possession of cannabis resin at Greenock police station.
The couple pleaded not guilty to the charges when they appeared in the dock at Paisley Sheriff Court for a pre-trial hearing.
Sheriff James Spy continued the case.
The couple, whose bail was continued, are now due to go on trial in November.
