Prosecutors claim between September 12 and 15 last year, Shields intentionally sent sexual messages and images to a woman he believed to be a girl aged between 13 and 16.
Shields is said to have done the same to another woman he believed to be under 13 during the same period and to a third woman, whom he thought was aged between 13 and 16, between September 13 and 15.
At last week’s hearing, his case was adjourned until next month for the trial to take place.
