A WEEKEND of remembrance will take place in towns and villages across Renfrewshire as residents honour the fallen.
On Sunday, a number of services and parades will take place, with a two-minute silence being observed at 11am.
Renfrewshire Provost Lorraine Cameron said: “Every year at this time, we stop to remember those we have lost.
“It’s so important that we pay our respects to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice and I look forward to the community once again coming together to show their gratitude for all who have gone before us.”
