JOHNSTONE residents are being urged to go along to the town's Christmas Market on Saturday which will feature a range of stalls.
The event in Houstoun Square is being held from 10am until 3.30pm and will include more than 20 stalls full of festive goodies.
Santa's Grotto will be open from 11am until 3pm and youngsters can get involved with the Children's Christmas Trail, where they can collect stickers from local businesses across the town from Saturday until the end of the month.
Two vital campaigns will also be launched in the coming weeks by the Johnstone Business Consotium; Every Family Deserves a Christmas Dinner and Every Child Deserves a Gift.
The former aims to ensure disadvantaged families in Johnstone will be given fresh ingredients to cook their own traditional meal, and the latter aims to make sure all children in the town get to experience receiving a present, even if their family is in financial difficulty.
Donations for Every Child Deserves a Gift can be handed into JBC members at the bandstand on Saturday, December 7, and residents can donate to the Christmas Dinner appeal at businesses across the town which will have collection cans out.
