POLICE probing an assault on a train in Renfrewshire have released images of a man they wish to speak to.
Detectives believe he may hold the key to the incident which took place between Paisley and Johnstone on Saturday, October 19.
He is understood to have been travelling on the 11.15pm train from Glasgow Central to Largs.
The man in the images is described as being of heavy build with short dirty blond or grey hair. He is shown wearing a green short sleeved shirt and a black leather jacket. He was last seen at Glengarnock Station in the company of a female, where they got into a taxi.
Anyone who recognises the man in the images is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 1900090115, as he may have important information regarding this incident.
