POLICE are hunting thieves who took more than £58,000 from a Howwood cleaning business.
Daylight Cleaning Services saw a truck taken as well as tools and machinery after a window was smashed and the roller shutter raised from inside to take the items.
Paisley CID are investigating the incident, overnight between January 6 and 7, in Wester Gavin, Belltrees Road, and believe witnesses could have vital information to catching those responsible.
Detective Inspector Bob Bowie said the theft included a silver Toyota Hilux truck worth £28,000 and the tools and equipment had more than £30,000 in value.
He urged anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area or saw the truck on the road or parked somewhere to contact police on 101, or Crimestoppers.
DI Bowie also asked drivers to check dashcam footage in case they caught anything useful to the investigation.
